When one hears the phrase "classical music," a visual image of portly gentlemen in powdered wigs is conjured. However, classical music is not just mathematical and "boring" in nature. When I was five, I would have said that my favorite place to hide was under my bed. Now, it's books. Through books I can esape to Narnia...England...the Caribbean...and I could go on and on. I've traveled under the sea, through the looking glass, with the Swiss Family Robinson. I've fallen in love with Mr. Darcy, and recognize Anne of Green Gables as a kindred spirit. Books have been my friends...my vacations.
