This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 30, 2008:
I was stalked by a seagull this morning. I'm not sure if seagulls actually grow larger when near the ocean (or whether my bird paranoia tainted my vision somewhat), but I am quite sure that he was both the largest seagull I've ever seen...and that he was also eyeing my legs like they were French fries. So, I chased him away. That momentary relapse into the *ahem* maturity of my childhood kept me smiling all the way to my office. *Note: no seagulls were harmed during the making of this anecdote.
